The yarn used for this pretty shawl is a DK yarn made from recycled plastic bottles. It is amazingly soft and a joy to work with.
First we knit a garter stitch body bottom up. Stiches are then picked up along the bottom edge from loops created when knitting the body.
Then both a cable pattern and a lace pattern are worked sideways separately. Finally finishing with a cute picot bind off.
