This pattern is the final pattern for the middle (sport to worsted) section of the Pick Your Poison collection.

The lace portion of this hat allows it to stretch considerably. The 18” finished circumference will easily fit up to a 23” head circumference. Because the circumference range is so wide I’ve given different length options. The hat is shown in the standard beanie length, which is normally good for a 19-21” head circumference. However, if your head circumference is larger you may want to follow one of the longer length options.

Make it Slouchy
If using a standard 220 yard skein of light worsted or worsted weight yarn you’ll have enough in your skein to knit a slouch hat of up to 12” length (including decrease section). The beanie size takes only 43 to 50 grams (95–110 yards).
