This stylish jacket is a fresh take on a traditional tartan pattern: with pizzazz and flair, it’s a striking and versatile knit that will look sporty and chic over pants, romantic and warm over a skirt, or classy and elegant to complement silk evening wear for an evening out.

The construction is very simple. The jacket is worked in pieces from the bottom up and the tartan vertical stripes are applied using surface crochet when the knitting is done, so there are no more than two colors per row (intarsia knitting).

The I-cord edging doubles as a buttonhole as a clever design feature.

Die wirklich einfache Konstruktion wird in einzelnen Teilen von unten nach oben mit Intarsia-Technik gestrickt.
Die vertikalen Linien werden erst im Nachhinein eingehäkelt, so dass zu keiner Zeit mehr als 2 Farben pro Reihe verwendet werden.

Abgekettet wird mit einem I-Cord, der gleichzeitig Hingucker ist und als Knopfloch fungiert.
