This pattern is written for a crib-size baby blanket that is lined in fleece and tied at points like a quilt. Size can be altered by increasing the number of setts (one sett = one blue + one green horizontal rows and yellow to yellow vertically = about 7”x7”).

The horizontal stripes in the long dimension are knitted first, and the vertical stripes are crocheted.

Yarn quantities for this pattern:
3 balls of Colrain Blue Lapis
1 ball of Cascade 220 Palm (plus a little more for the green edging)
1 ball of Colrain Black (for horizontal black stripes)
< 1/2 ball of Cascade 220 Lemon (both horizontal and vertical)
1 ball of Northfield Dark Black (sport weight used for lighter scale of black verticals)
