This pattern was updated on 22 January 2025 to rename it from The Tunisian Mug Rug to its new name, Tas Tapi, which means Mug Rug in Haitian Creole. This change reflects my movement towards renaming all patterns to honor and celebrate my culture.

This mug rug works up super fast and doesn’t require a special Tunisian crochet hook—just use the hooks you already have on hand.
