Tassel Doll to knit and stitch
Decorative tassels of all shapes and sizes are big news at the moment and so I couldn’t resist designing a ‘tassel doll’ pattern for my Etsy shop.
Measuring 18 cm (7 in) this little pink and green cutie is very easy to make. She can be hung on door knobs and keys and is also strong enough to become a light pull or a bell pull though she is not suitable for a child’s toy.
The tassel doll pattern will come to you as a 9 page PDF email file which contains coloured pictures and step by step instructions, plus lots of useful hints and tips.
The amount of knitting required is minimal and only short lengths of yarn will be needed. You will also require ribbon, braid and/or a pretty light-weight fabric.
The tassel doll is knitted on straight needles in DK yarn, (USA - light-worsted/Australia - 8 ply).
Knitting skills required - cast on, cast off, knit, purl, k2tog.
