This hat has a hood-like appearance, and is based on Peruvian tassel hats. This particular pattern was designed to work with handspun bulky yarn.

Sample was knit with Smudge Yarns Bulky handspun 50% Zwartbles Wool 50% Alpaca.
Tassels included brown DK scrap yarn
