This sweet basket is single-crocheted in three colors of jute (the bottom is black) and simply embroidered with a few yards of worsted yarn. This would make a perfect herb-gathering basket, a centerpiece filled with flowers or tiny fruits and vegetables, or a perfect gift container for candies or travel-sized toiletries or baby products. The embroidery hides the color changes, or it can be stitched in all one color if you’d rather skip the needlework. Tassels are optional, of course.
