Tasseled Too Shawl can be made with or without beads. The decision is up to you! Beads are added only during casting on so if you are new to beads this is an easy way to begin!

Tasseled Too Shawl can be knitted in one color, a combination of colors, or striped!

Although the pattern calls for fingering weight yarn, Tasseled Too Shawl is suitable for different weight yarns, resulting in different sizes and requiring different amounts of yarn.

STRIPED VERSION: Borders and every other stripe takes approximately 75% of the total yardage for Color A. Color B take approximately 25% of the total yardage noted above. Please refer to pattern instructions or my project pages for exact yardage.

TWO TONE VERSION: For a version without stripes but with 1 color for border and 1 color for inner area requires 45% of the total yardage for borders and 55% of the total yardage for the solid inner area of the shawl. Please refer to pattern instructions or my project pages for exact yardage.

Three different sizes give you the option of creating a cute little shawl to wrap around your neck or a larger shawl draping across your shoulders and down your back! And if three sizes don’t give you enough options, I explain in the Helpful Hints section, an easy way to create this shawl in any size or yarn weight you desire!

The majority of the pictures and the listed yarn on this project page is for the large version of TASSELED TOO SHAWL in white and charcoal gray stripe. For information on the pink and gray strip version and the two-tone unstriped version please see my other project pages.
