This pattern offers instructions for a simple quick-knit tomato. Basic knitting and seaming techniques make this pattern accessible for beginners. The pattern is written for knitting flat, with a few extra instructions provided for working in the round. A single tomato takes about one hour to knit and make up. The finished object measures roughly 2” wide` when using worsted weight yarn and size US 6 needles.
NOTIONS:
Pair US 6 / 4.00 mm knitting needles or 5 DPNs
Embroidery needle
MATERIALS:
4 g Red Yarn (Worsted or Aran Wt.)
1 g Green Yarn (Light Worsted or Sport Wt.)
Poly-fill
SKILLS:
Basic knitting technique, with stockinette stitch and simple increases/decreases, seaming.
