Tavallinen Sweater Mini
is a simple slightly oversized, little cropped pullover with a beautiful drop-shoulder construction and long, wide and cozy sleeves. The sweater is soft and light and will be wonderful to wear all the year through, on a fresh summer evening or colder autumn days.

bust circumference
71 (73, 75, 78, 81, 83, 86, 91) cm | 28 (28.5, 29.5, 30.5, 32, 32.5, 34, 36) inches

positive ease
This sweater is designed to have a positive ease of approximately 15cm (6 inches), meaning the circumference is 15cm (6 inches) larger than your usual bust measurement. With a bust circumference of 56cm (22 inches) and additional 15cm (6 inches) positive ease, the correct bust circumference is then 71cm (28 inches) for this sweater. So before you begin to knit the sweater, measure the bust around to find the best fit.

length
Measured from the top of shoulder to the bottom of your knitting piece.
33 (35, 37, 39, 40, 41, 43, 45) cm | 13 (13.75, 14.5, 15.25, 15.75, 16.25, 17, 17.75) inches

gauge
22 sts x 34 rows for 10x10cm (4x4 inches) in stockinette stitch with needle size 4mm (US 6) after blocking. Please don‘t forget to knit a swatch before you start, which is washed and blocked before measured, to see if the gauge is correct. Every yarn is different!

needle size
4mm (US 6) of 40cm or 60cm (16 or 24 inches) circular needles or required needle size to obtain gauge. I prefer to use the magic-loop-method on circular needles for the sleeves, instead of using some double pointed needles.

yarn
The sweater is knitted with Lana Grossa ECOPUNO (72% cotton, 17% merino, 11% alpaca, 50g, 215m | 235 yards). I used color 31 brown red.

amount
