Tavaratalo shawl was inspired by woven shawls with contrast colour edgings I had been admiring. The edging is a good way to use brightly coloured skeins as an accent.

The rectangular shawl is knit in garter stitch. You can easily adjust the size for width or length but you will need additional skeins of yarn. As written, you get a small shawl ideal to wear wrapped around your neck.

With this pattern I wanted to share my notes on making this simple shawl. It is free so you can check beforehand if it has enough instruction for you to work with.
