- Sometimes, inspiration hits us designers, and patterns simply come to life. Other times, it stems from a special request. This is one of those designs, that originates from a custom order. A few years ago, my friend Katie requested some baby leg warmers for her son, Nelson, and I gladly crafted them for her. As I was photographing them in my favorite coffee shop, someone asked if they were wrist warmers. I was pleasantly surprised to realize that these little leg warmers fit my arms perfectly, as well! I love a good multi-purpose item! These leg warmers will keep your little ones warm for a few years. Once they outgrow them, you can snag them for yourself as wrist warmers!

Size:

• Finished dimensions: 3 in wide by 8.5 in long / 7.62 cm wide x 21.59 long
• Measurements taken from item laid flat and unstretched

Materials:

• Between 100 to 115 yards / 54 to 63 g of Caron Simply Soft yarn, or similar size 4 yarn
• US 7 / 4.5 mm needles, either DPN’s or circulars long enough for Magic Loop Method
• Designer’s Sample used Caron Simply Soft in the color Heather Gray

• These are knitted in the round, from the bottom up
• Uses either DPN’s or Magic Loop method
