A free version is also available.
The beanie uses tapestry crochet and the waistcoat stitch to create a knit style look.
This is an adult sized hat.
The hat is worked from the bottom up and measures approx. 10” wide at the base of the hat, 9” tall and 8.5” across the crown.
You will need to know how to:
- Split stitch single crochet (also called waistcoat stitch)
- Work in third loops only
- Work in back loops only
- Read a color chart
- Change colors
- Decrease
Materials needed:
- Tapestry needle
- Size I, 5.5 mm crochet hook
- Medium worsted weight yarn (size 4), I used Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn in Gray Mist, Turquoise and Blue
