Tea cosie using double 8 ply
by Annie Reilly
Tea cosie using two strands of 8 ply yarn
Here is a fun and unique tea cosie to make.
This is a quick and easy pattern.
I made this while watching a long movie one evening. Definitely something you could create on a weekend, for yourself or as a present.
A great practice piece for the new knitter using knit and purl stitches.
This tea cosie is made up of two identical pieces sewn together at the top and bottom, leaving openings for the handle and spout of your teapot.
8ply wool yarn using two colours- 1 x 50g in each colour.
5.5mm & 6mm needles, a wool needle for sewing and scissors.
Will easily fit a 4 to 6 cup teapot, or 1 to 1.5 litre teapot.
