Animal Tea Coffee Drip Catchers
This pattern describes in US terminology how to crochet a set of tea drip catchers as shown on pictures.
These drip catchers will fit any standard size teapot or coffeepot, because of the elastic cord. You can also use these cute little critters as keychain, Christmas tree ornaments or any other embellishments. This pattern contains instructions to make an owl, cupcake, bird, ladybug, penguin and the drip catcher part.
This is a perfect project to use your scraps of yarn, since only small amounts of yarn will be used to create the little critters.
Finished sizes will be approx. 1,77” - 2,36” (4,5 cm - 6 cm) tall, crocheted using sport weight cotton yarn and crochet hook C (2,5 mm). Finished sizes will also depend on your personal style / tension of crochet.
SMC Catania yarn was used to create the drip catchers in the pictures.
Gauge: not important for this pattern; just crochet tight enough so the stuffing won’t show through the stitches.
