The gonk/gnome measure 8” tall from top of head to sole of shoe. The apples measure 6” with facial features and 5” without facial features. Pencil measure 5.5 x 2.5”

Gauge isn’t important just needs to be compact so that stuffing doesn’t show through.

I used Yarnsmith create, Stylecraft and King Cole moments but any yarn and colour combinations can be used.

Needles UK No 10 (3.25mm) US 3 & No8 (4mm) US 6
Tapestry/Darning needle for sewing up
Toy stuffing

Suggested colours – DK/8ply
35g Red
25g Brown
20g Skin tone
15g Beard (king cole moments)
40g Green
10g dark green (for leaves)
12mm eyes
For pencil a few grams of each colour is plenty
Small piece of card for personalising
