Ombre Security Blanket Crochet Pattern | Baby Security Blanket Crochet Pattern

Teal Appeal is a crochet baby security blanket pattern for worsted weight yarn. The sample was worked using ½ skein of Red Heart Super Saver Ombre in Deep Teal.

The body of the blanket is worked using rows of half double crochet in the back loop only. The border involves doing a foundation round of single crochets and then one round of the border pattern.

Size (Finished Measurements): approximately 14.5” x 18.5” for the security size blanket

Yarn is Heavy Worsted Weight (#4 Medium) in color(s) of crocheter’s choice.

Materials Needed:

• Heavy Worsted weight yarn in the color of your choice, approximately 240 yards
• crochet hook size I or size needed to obtain gauge
• tapestry needle
• stitch markers
• tape measure
