Blankets are one of my favourite things to crochet during the winter months. I have longer stretches of time indoors and it is wonderful to take that time to work on a larger project. Because the temperatures here tend to range on the cooler side I look forward to working under a larger, cozy, soft and warm project! That being said, although this is considered a larger project, it’s not going to take you too long to complete as it is made with a super bulky weight yarn.

Gauge: 10 stitches x 8 rows of hdc in the 3rd loop = 4 inches

Finished Size: 50 x 60 inches excluding fringe

Yarn: Caron Chunky Cakes by Yarnspirations (100% acrylic; 8 oz/227g; 297 yds/271 m; (6) Super Bulky Weight): 8 balls. Include one more if wanting to add a fringe.

Hook: Size L/11 (8 mm) hook.
