The sweater is knitted from the top down.
First, work the back piece down to under the
arms. Pick up sts from each shoulder for
front piece. The front and back pieces are
then knitted together under the shoulders
and then worked in the round. When
referred to the right and left front pieces,
it`s referred to when garment is on. Stitches are picked up along the armholes for sleeves. The sleeves are worked in the round on circular needles.
