This Tealight jar lid cover is very nice to give away together with the tealight holder.

Crochet the ‘Tealight jar lid cover’ using this crochet pattern in PDF format. This pattern contains explained written instructions in English and uses US crochet terminology. MATERIALS

A cleaned and empty Bon Maman jam jar 370g
Used yarn: Rio Uni cotton yarn of Lammy Yarns or other comparable cotton yarn. For the lid cover and the bottom of the tealight, color of choice, and on top of the tealight a little bit of white cotton.
Lurex glitter yarn of Lammy Yarns or other comparable Lurex yarn for the edging of the lid cover, color of choice, and silver for the side of the tealight.
Size 2.5 mm (US: B/1 or C/2, UK: 12) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
Row counter
Yarn needle
Scissors
And 6 tealights

MEASUREMENTS

The lid cover measures approx. diameter 10 x height 10 cm (= 4 x 4 inch).

GAUGE

21sc and 24 rows = 10x10 cm (= 4x4 inch) Rio Uni cotton yarn with crochet hook 2.5 mm
25sc and 29 rows = 10x10 cm (= 4x4 inch) Lurex yarn with crochet hook 2.5 mm
