This is a good project for beginners to try some new techniques that you may not have tried yet:
1-Provisional Cast On Method to make hems at the bottom of the body & the sleeves.
2-Vertical & Horizontal color striping
3-Three Needle Bind Off for the hood
4-Single Crochet Edging
5-Sewing in separating zipper
The body is worked in one piece to the armholes, then separated and finished with raglan shaping. Hood is added then zipper sewn in. Can be made up in your favorite team or school colors!
