This beginner-friendly continuous granny square blanket is easy to customize. My version is designed in the team colors of the New York Mets, but you can use the colors of your favorite team! The size is perfect for covering your lap at a night game, but you can adjust to your preferred size.

Materials
KnitPal Woolen Delights yarn https://amzn.to/4bcydUT (40% wool/40% acrylic/20% polyamide, 3.5 oz/100 g, 174 yd/159 m) – 3 skeins each in Pumpkin Orange (CA) and Persian Blue (CB), or approximately 410 yd (375 m) in each of 2 colors in any medium weight acrylic blend yarn.

US Size K-10.5/6.5 mm crochet hook, or any size needed to obtain correct gauge.

Yarn needle.

Gauge
14 sts in pattern (including dc + ch-1 sp) = 4” (10 cm) across. Exact gauge is not critical for this project.
