The Teanaway River Valley is a gorgeous area in Eastern Washington State; it is home to the Teanaway River and some of the most beautiful fall color in the state. Having done my share of hiking in this area, a cozy beanie comes in handy. Teanaway Beanie is a simple charted colorwork hat designed to feature small amounts of colorful hand dyed yarns and comes in sizes to fit the entire family.

Sizes (in inches): 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23

Guage: ~4.5 stitches/inch

Yarn: 1 skein Debbie Bliss Cashmerino and 1 skein of a contrasting colorful worsted weight yarn (the rainbow looking yarn pictured is Baaad Sarah’s Handpainted Yarn Inspired by the Coast in City Lights colorway- which is currently unavailable- but Baaad Anna’s may have other colorways in stock). You will need up to 98 yards of the main color and 50 yards of the contrasting color. The yellow beanie pictured is knit with Malabrigo worsted in Frank Ochre and Midknit Cravings Hearty Worsted in Alstroemeria.
