My beautiful friend, Dahlia, died of Colon Cancer at the much too young age of 52. She left behind two sons, one only 16 years old. I made this shawl in her memory, and for each pattern sold I will donate $3 to her 16-year old son’s college expense fund (managed by our local YMCA, where she was a pre school teacher) and $1 to Fox Chase Cancer Center.
