This shawl uses simple intarsia and color blocking to give you a shawl that has a dual nature – giving you a different shawl depending on how you wear it! It’s a quick, fun knit that is sure to keep you entertained and colorful!
Size: One Size
Recommended yarn: Two colors of fingering weight yarn in semi-solid/tonal/gradient as MC1-MC2. Four mini-skeins to accompany the main colors.
Sample uses one skein Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light (100% Merino Wool; 420 yd/384 m per skein) in the Silver Fox colorway (MC1), 716knit 716solo (100% SW merino; 400 yd/ 366 m per skein) in the “Josh Can’t Over-dye Black” colorway (MC2) and Madelinetosh Unicorn Tails (100% SW Merino; 52 yd/48 m per skein) in the Tart (C1), Charcoal (C2), Torchere (C3), and Dirty Panther (C4) color ways.
Yardage: MC1 and MC2: 400 yd/ 366 m of each – 800 yd/ 732 m in total; C1-4: Four mini-skeins (52 yd/ 48 m per mini-skein) – 260 yd / 240 m in total.
Needles: One 32”/ 80cm US size 5 / 3.75 mm circular needle
Gauge: 6 sts to the inch in garter stitch on US size 5 / 3.75 mm needles
