The completed Bear Bonnet is a photo prop to be used with supervision in newborn and sitter photography sessions.

This pattern is well-suited to a beginner knitter as it is knit flat, then seamed. It is worked up using DK weight yarn on 4mm (US6) needles. You will need to know how to cast on and off, knit, purl and knit two stitches together.

My gauge: 22 sts and 28 rows is 10x10 cms.
