Teddy Bear cardigan
I made this cute crochet cardigan for my Teddy Bear, as my students wanted to make a hexagon cardigan for themselves. I crocheted up a small version so they could practise, and received so many compliments and requests for the pattern. So here it is. Teddy didn’t know he was going to be a fashion model, when I bought him for £1 at the charity shop last year, but here we are!
I have written this pattern for adventurous beginners in mind. There are full instructions, taking the beginner step by step. I have also included a whole page of photo tutorials.
You can adapt this pattern to fit any Teddy Bear, regardless of arm size, tummy size, height etc, and you can use any yarn weight. Bigger yarns for bigger bears, smaller yarn for smaller bears.
You will be surprised how easy it is. If you have experience in basic Granny squares, it will be a benefit, but not essential.
As always I am a message away if you need help or advice. I hope you enjoy making these adorable cardigans as much as i did.
Warm woolly wishes Naomi & Noah
