A three piece out fit for bears - ideal for build a bears - knit in double knit yarn. Separate instructions are given for knitting on spns worked in rows, and for dpns, working in the round.
The sweater also has a wide neck band that fits over the bears head without the need for fasteners

The trousers are to fit a standard build a bear so they have a lot of shaping at the rear, there is also a gap for the tail. I’ve given suggestions for bears that aren’t the ‘sitting down type’ The matching hat has gaps for ears
materials used are approx 75g in main for the sweater
50g for the trousers and 30g for the hat. Also required are small oddments of 2 contrasting colours.

Check your tension as double knit yarns can vary in thickness. If you want to make the items for a larger bear, go up a needle size.
