“Beach bear, beach bear there on the sand…”

This delightful bear is all decked out in his red and white bathers and yellow floaties, ready for a fun-filled day on the surf.

This pattern includes easy to follow instructions on how to make the Amigurumi beach bear. He is worked bottom up with legs and arms joined as you go. The only sewing is to attach the bear snout and ears. The floaties are removable.

Gauge is not important for this pattern. You can use a heavier or lighter weight yarn, but keep in mind that this will change the size of your finished product. With a 4mm hook and 8 ply yarn, the elephant measures approximately 25 cm (9.8 inches) height and 26.5cm (10.5 inches) around his widest point (his bottom).
