About the pattern:
This is a pattern that has been available in icelandic for some time and this hat has been very popular.

The hat is knitted from down to up.
You start by knitting the brim that you then fold down.
Then it is all stockinette stitches until the crown decreases.
When finished making the decreases you pick up stitches for the earflaps
(you can make them in the three smalles sizes or skip them if you want),
You also pick up stitches along the decreases in the crown for the ears. You can choose from cat ears (spitz type) or the bear ears
(round or oval type).
