Introduction
The Teddy Half Zip is a cozy and versatile staple for your comfiest season. Leading with texture, this sweater features two strands held together. Boucle creates texture while its counterpart creates structure. The raglan construction of this laid back sweater is highlighted with a deep zipper and a roomy fit. This sweater is worked from the top down with a folded collar that is sewn into place as it is worked, eliminating the need to pick up stitches around the collar. The back side of the zipper is double knit to ensure a smooth and comfortable fit. The arm and bottom hem edges are finished with a chunky rib stitch while holding two strands together.

Notes
Although this pattern recommends a 35 cm (13.8 inch) zipper, you may choose any size, and simply join in the round when appropriate for the length of your chosen zipper.

Techniques
Provisional cast-on, increasing, picking up stitches, knitting flat, backwards loop cast-on, knitting in the round, holding stitches, sewing stitches down, sewing zippers, tubular bind-off, blocking (wet, steam, or other).

Size Guide
The Teddy Half Zip is designed to have 29-32 cm (11.5-12.75 inches) of positive ease at the bust, meaning it is meant to be 29-32 cm (11.5-12.75 inches) larger than your bust circumference. I recommend taking your bust circumference into consideration to find the best size for you. The sizes XS, (S), M, (L), XL, (2XL), 3XL, (4XL), 5XL are designed to fit a bust circumference of 71 (81.5) 91.5 (101.5) 112 (122) 132 (142) 152.5 cm 28 (32) 36 (40) 44 (48) 52 (56) 60 inches. The measurements for the finished garment are given on the first page of the pattern.

Before starting, please kindly measure the largest part of your bust to determine your best size. For example, if your bust circumference is 90 cm (36 inches), you should knit size M. Size M has a bust circumference of 124 cm (49.5 inches).

If you are between sizes, or do not prefer an oversized fit, I recommend sizing down.
