Teddy snood is the neck and ear warmer for pets, designed to keep your furry friend comfortable and cozy during chilly walks. Made from soft material, it provides gentle warmth without restricting movement. The stylish design ensures your dog looks adorable while staying protected from the cold.
The design is created taking into account the anatomical structure of dogs of such breeds as French Bulldog, Pug, etc.

REQUIRED TECHNIQUES. long-tail cast on, backwards cast on, increasing stitches, decreasing stitches, cast off, picking up stitches, knitting in the round, bind-off, German Sort Rows, Mattress (invisible) stitch

• This garment is worked in one piece, top down, both in the round and flat, uses decreases and short rows for shaping.
• The top of the snood is worked In Stockinette stitch in the round and back and forth and uses decreases for shaping. Openings for the ears created by casting off and picking up stitches.
• The ears are worked flat, by picking up stitches from the ears’ openings edge. Two halves are sewn together at the end of the work using Mattress (invisible) stitch.
• The neck is worked in the round in Stockinette stitch, shaped with German Short Rows for more comfortable fit.
• I-Cord is worked on double pointed needles and inserted into the face band at the end of the work.

NEEDLES.
• Circular needle size 3,0 mm / US 2,5 (40cm/16”) or DPNs size 3,0 mm / US 2,5
• DPNs size 4,0 mm / US 6 (for ears)
Adjust the needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

GAUGE.
20 sts and 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4”x4”) in Stockinette stitch with needles size 3,0mm / US2,5 after blocking.
