About the Teddy Texture Set:
I have been lured by the scrumptiousness of one of Bumblebee Acres Farm’s one-of-a-kind Texture Packs, and was inspired to create an enjoyable quick and cozy knit! Imagine my surprise - and delight- when I found that after knitting the coziest, cutest hat, I also had enough yarn to create an equally cozy and cute cowl.

The squishy, soft stitches of these two yarns held together are pure magic, and make for an incredibly cozy project, whether it be for yourself (like me!), or a speedy gift knit for giving. Enjoy! ~QueenBee

Yarn uses the following, held together:
BRUSHED LACE (Spun Sugar)
50g/ 328 yds
74% Baby Suri Alpaca/26% Silk
2 ply Brushed Lace

BOUCLE DK (Teddy Bouclé)
100g/ 240 yds
100% Superwash Merino Bouclé
3 ply DK weight

Suggested Yarn:
Sample knit using one Bumblebee Acres Farm’s Texture Pair including Teddy Bouclé and Spun Sugar, held together.
Color is one of a kind, dyed together.

Needles & Notions:

• US 5 needles
• Needles should be circulars on 16 inch cord.
• For crown decrease: DPNs or magic loop in US 5
• 1 Beginning of Round Stitch Marker
• Optional Row Counter
• Measuring Tape
• Progress Keeper
• Darning Needle/Crochet hook

Size and Gauge:
One size fits most adults. Hat fits comfortably and is NOT snug.
2 in wide = 6 sts knit in round in pattern k2, p2, k2
2 in tall = about 8 rows

Stitch Glossary:
K:knit
P: purl
K2tog: knit two Stitches together SSK: slip two Stitches, knit together
through back loop
P2tog: purl two Stitches together Asterisks denote repeat of sequence
for each round.

NOTES:

• Yarn is held double throughout pattern
• Substitute SPUN SUGAR yarn with any brushed lace, including mohair.
• Substitute TEDDY BOUCLE yarn with any DK weight yarn, To maintain texture, use DK weight bouclé.
• Nearly ALL yarn was used! Keep gauge consistent throughout.
• Hat brim does flair, but will not overstretch and is a no-hat-hair type of style!
