This felted tote is named for my horse Ted.
It’s his portrait on the bag! As a rider I tend to drag a lot of
stuff around with me, and this bag is up to the task. It’s
knit with two strands of worsted weight yarn held together
for the entire project. Use your imagination to embellish
this bag – in addition to needle felting the horse design, I
used a snaffle bit as the top of the handle. The handle can
also be knit longer and joined at the top with a button or
three needle bind off. Look at the photos and they will re‐
ally help to visualize how this project will come together.
