Teemo is a unisex simple tank top, knitted from the top down. I created this garment for my boyfriend when he asked me for a linen tank top, but then, I realized that it looked good on me too and that it could definitely be worn with or without boobs! ;) Of course, I had to knit myself a second sample! The armholes are very large, so if showing too much side boob isn’t your thing, you can wear it with a cute bralette underneath! It is mostly knit in stockinette in the round but the upper part is knit flat. There’s simple garter edging around the neck, armholes and bottom hem. You could use a contrasting color for those edges if you want to.

XS (S, M, L, XL){2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL}

Bust circumference : 34 (38, 42, 46, 50){54, 58, 62, 66}“ // 86 (97, 107, 117, 127){137, 147, 157, 168} cm.
Choose a size with 4” to 8” // 10 to 20 cm of positive ease for a loose fit. The red sample is a size L on a 40” // 100 cm bust (6” // 15 cm of positive ease). The lilac sample is a size M on a 37” bust.

The 3XL and the 5XL were unfortunately not tested because I could not find any testers. If you are interested in testing one of those two sizes, please send me a message on Ravelry, I will be happy to send you the pattern! Thank you so much! :)

Suggested yarn
Red sample : Lindy chain by Knit Picks, (70% linen, 30% cotton), c. “serrano”.
Lilac sample : Saison by Bleu Poussière, (50% alpaca, 25% silk, 25% linen), c. wildflower.
Or you can use any fingering weight yarn as long as you achieve gauge. I would recommend using a linen yarn but that’s not mandatory.

24 sts x 40 rows = 4” // 10 cm
PLEASE SWATCH! For this garment, a swatch knitted flat is more important than a swatch in the round because all the shaping happens in the flat portion. Row gauge is also very important for this garment because it will affect the depth of the armholes and neckline.

Teemo est une cami simple et unisexe qui se tricote du haut vers le bas. Je l’ai créée car mon copain m’a demandé une camisole en lin, mais par la suite j’ai réalisé qu’elle m’allait bien aussi, et qu’elle pouvait donc être portée avec ou sans poitrine! ;) Je n’avais pas le choix de m’en tricoter une deuxième pour moi. Puisque les emmanchures sont très grandes, si vous n’aimez pas montrer trop de côté de poitrine, vous pouvez la porter par dessus une bralette. La cami est tricotée principalement en jersey en rond mais le haut du vêtement est tricoté à plat. Il y a également des bordures de point mousse autour des emmanchures, du col et de la bordure inférieure. Vous pourriez tricoter ces bordures avec une couleur contrastante si ça vous dit!

XS (S, M, L, XL){2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL}

Circonférence au buste : 34 (38, 42, 46, 50){54, 58, 62, 66}“ // 86 (97, 107, 117, 127){137, 147, 157, 168} cm.
Choisissez une taille avec 4” à 8” // 10 à 20 cm d’aisance positive pour un ajustement ample. La version rouge présentée en photo est de taille L et est portée sur un buste de 40” // 100 cm. La version lilas est de taille M sur un buste de 37”.

Fil suggéré
Version rouge : Lindy chain par Knit Picks, (70% lin, 30% coton), c. “serrano”. recommande l’utilisation d’un fil contenant du lin mais ce n’est pas obligatoire.

SVP FAITES VOTRE ÉCHANTILLON! Pour ce vêtement, un échantillon tricoté à plat est plus important qu’un échantillon tricoté en rond puisque toute la mise en forme de la cami se fait à plat. Le nombre de rang de l’échantillon est également très important puisqu’il aura un impact sur la profondeur du col et des emmanchures. Si votre tension à plat et en rond a tendance à être différente, je recommande de faire les deux échantillons, un à plat et un en rond.
