ABOUT THE PATTERN
Finished size: if made with a D (3.25mm) hook & worsted
weight yarn, the doll stands just shy of 10 inches (25cm) tall.
Procedure: This doll is crocheted from the feet up, with arms,
ears, hair, and dress created separately. All rounds are
continuous spirals unless otherwise indicated.
Gauge: tight enough that the stuffing doesn’t show through.
Skill level: CYC Intermediate for the dress; CYC Easy for the doll.

sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
inc = invisible single crochet increase
dec = invisible single crochet decrease
hdc-inc = 2 half-double crochets in the same st
hdc2tog = half-double 2 sts together
dc-inc = 2 double crochets in the same st
dc2tog = double crochet 2 sts together
tr = treble crochet
tr-inc = 2 treble crochets in the same st
BLO = back loop only
FLO = front loop only

brown for skin tone
white for undergarments
Fingering (#1) weight yarn in yellow for dress
Embroidery floss in lip-color, black, white, and
metallic gold
Size D (3.25mm) hook
Size B (2.25mm) hook for dress
Stitch marker
Polyester filling
7.5mm safety eyes (brown or red)*
Yarn & Embroidery needles

8 inches (20cm) of 14G aluminum armature wire
(optional but recommended)
