• This beanie is knitted starting with the brim and ending with the crown. The knitting is done in the round and does not require any sewing. The brim is triple layered. There are two layers that are joined together and then you have to fold it over to see the ribs on the right side.

Sizes
Small, Medium, (Large)
​​Small - For a small head (18” to 19” head circumference).
Medium - For an average head (20-22” head circumference).
Large - For a large head (23” to 24” head circumference).
If in doubt, choose a size down, the hat is not very tight.

GAUGE
Knitted in garter stitch with 1 strand of DK weight yarn on 4 mm needles (US 6)
22 sts and 28 rounds = 10,16 cm (4 in) after blocking

Amantine base by Masculin Singulier
33% superwash merinos / 67 % non superwash merinos
100 g = 225 m / 246 yds

Colours : 935 du séminaire (Grey)
Grand air (Blue)

You will need about 70 g, or 1 x 100 g skein and a small amount of waste yarn, also DK, for the Provisional cast on.

Needles and tools
4 mm (US 6) circular needles with 40 cm / 16” cable. You will need double point needles of the same size if you are not using the “magic loop” method for decreases. Ten removable markers of one color to distinguish the beginning of the round and the rows of decreases and 4 more removable markers to distinguish the sections. A tapestry needle.

• Cette tuque est tricotée en commençant par la bordure et en finissant par la couronne. Le tricot se fait en rond et ne nécessite aucune couture. La bordure est triple épaisseur. Il y a les deux épaisseurs qui sont jointes ensemble et ensuite il faut la replier pour voir les côtes sur le côté endroit.

Grandeurs
Petit, Medium, (Grand)
Petit - Pour une petite tête (circonférence de la tête de 19 à 20 po).
Moyen - Pour une tête moyenne (circonférence de la tête de 21 à 22 po).
Grand - Pour une tête large (circonférence de la tête de 23 à 24 po)

Échantillon
Tricoter en point mousse avec 1 fil de Amantine de Masculin Singulier, ou n’importe quel fil de DK, sur des aiguilles 4 mm (US 6).

Vous aurez besoin d’environ 70 g, soit 1 écheveau de 100 g. Ainsi qu’une petite quantité de fil DK pour le montage provisoire.

Aiguilles et outils
Aiguilles circulaires de 4 mm (US 6) avec câble de 40 cm / 16 po. Il vous faudra des aiguilles doubles pointes de la même grosseur si vous n’utilisez pas la méthode “magic loop” lors des diminutions. Dix marqueurs amovibles d’une couleur pour distinguer le début de tour et les rangs de diminutions ainsi que 4 marqueurs amovibles de plus pour distinguer les sections. Une aiguille à laine.
