When finished, this adorable squirrel (inspired by the “Harold and the Purple Crayon” series) will be 4” x 2”. There were actually two squirrels in the series, so you can always make two of them. :)

Required Skills:

• Create a magic circle (or magic ring)

• Crocheting in a round

• Decrease stitches (invisible decreasing is used for this project)

• Embroidering

• Increase stitches

• Sewing pieces together to form the doll

• Single crochet

Materials Needed for this Project:

• Size F/6 or 3.75mm Crochet Hook

• Size E/5 or 3.50mm Crochet Hook (for nose, ears, and feet)

• Yarn Needle

• Stitch Marker

• Scissors

• Polyester Fiberfill

• Stuffing Tool

• Worsted Weight Yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver Solids—1 skein for each color)
o Café Latte for head, body, arms, legs, feet, ears, and tail
o Claret for eyes, nose, and mouth
