ABOUT TEKLA BLOOMERS:
High waisted cashmere bloomers, inspired by babies, designed for adults. Elastic waistband and drawstring closure. Ruffle details at both leg openings. The perfect pair of underwear for comfortable lounging.

Note: The estimated yarn consumption may vary depending on the yarn of choice. My testers used different yarn weights from Light Fingering to DK and ended up within +/- 20 g from the estimation.

  • 0.5-1.5cm 0.2-0.6 in wide elastic band for the waist, sewing needle and a length of sewing thread
  • Length of scrap yarn for the provisional cast-on
  • Two stitch markers
  • Stitch holder or scrap yarn
  • Safety pin
  • Tapestry needle

GAUGE:
In Stockinette using 3.5mm US 4 needles.
25 sts / 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 in
Worked in flat and measured after wet blocking

SUGGESTED NEEDLES:
3.5mm US 4 circular needles / 60cm 24 in or longer
2 x 3.5mm US 4 double pointed needles for the I-cord strap
Crochet hook of similar size to your knitting needle for the provisional cast on
Extra circular needle in similar size for picking up stitches from the provisional cast on

Note: The given needle size is only a suggestion. It is important to make a test swatch before you begin to make sure you meet the gauge. Change the needle size if needed.
