The Tell a story blanket illustrates 12 fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen, some of the most popular and maybe one you haven’t hard before.

The blanket is made in interlocking crochet, a technique that consists of two crochet parts in different colors which are interlinked and thereby they form a relief picture.

The pattern is for right hand.

According to the technique: each of the 12 squares measures 40x38 windows. The blanket in total measures 18.240 windows.

The blanket is shown in two types of yarn and three color combinations. Please note that the final size of the blanket depends on the chosen yarn, the crochet hook and your tension. If you want a larger blanket, you can use a larger hook size and another type of yarn:

Suggestion 1 (blanket in 5 colors)

Yarn: Bio Shetland, GOTS certified wool, approx. 800g / 4480 m (There will be some yarn leftover).

Hook size 2.5 mm.

Blanket size approx.: 100 x 140 cm.

Suggestion 2 (blandet in 2 colors)
Yarn: Permin Esther - en blanding af 55% Uld, 45% Bomuld, approx. 800 g / 3680 m
Hook size: 2,5 mm.
Blanket size approx.: 92 x 138 cm

Suggestion 3 (blanket in 4 colors)
Yarn: Bio Shetland, GOTS certified wool, approx. 750g / 4200 m
Hook size 2.5mm.

Blanket size approx.: 100 x 140 cm.
