Tell me a Story Sweater Women
Skill level: INTERMEDIATE, Difficult.
You should know the basic stiches: chain stitch, slip stitch. All the other sticthes used in the pattern are explained.
If the stitch in the pattern is new to you, I recommend to practice the stitch before starting the actual design:)
This pattern is written in English, in standard American terms and includes lot of photos of the process.
Pattern includes instructions for 6 different sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL,XXL.
The length is adjustable.
Materials>
* In total 750(900,1050,1200,1350,1500) meters / 820(1000,1150,1300,1500,1650) yds for the cropped sweater of which 20 meters / 22 yds is color 2 (seams) and 100(100,150,150,150,200)
meters / 110(110,164,164,164,218) yds of color 3 (here black stripe of the slevees). If you make high collar, 1 more skein of yarn is needed .
Yarn is Chunky/5/bulky weight yarn. The sweater in the pictures are made with BBB filati Alpaka 70, Novita Jojo, Other yarn suggestions> Hayfield Chunky Tweed with wool, Drops Andes, Mondial bio soft (cotton), Sirdar Smudge, Bernat Velvet.
- Crochet hook: 9mm/M,N/13, or whatever size to obtain the gauge. And one smaller hook 6-7mm/K/10.5 for the trims/ribs.
- Stitch markers.
