Telline is a summer top knitted seamlessly from the top down.
Telline top is worked by knitting the front and back. Lastly, stitches are picked along each piece, the back and the front and some additional stitches are cast on to form the straps.
The sides are knitted one after the other, then back and front are joined by a three needle bind off.
The second side is worked in the same way.

Two options are available for the body: a straight version, or an A-shaped version with a few increases to widen the model at the hips.

Simple to adjust and knit, it’s an easy to wear summer top suitable for a variety of light yarns.
You can imagine a monochrome version, or knit it in a multitude of colors.

Sizes
• Finished bust measurements:
T (79, 87, 96) 103, 108, 116 (120, 127, 135, 143) cm / (31.1, 34.6, 37.8) 40.6, 42.5, 45.7 (46.9, 50.4, 53.5)” including the intended ease.
• Length hem to underarm (adjustable): 36 cm.

• Recommended ease between -5 of negative ease to 12 cm of positive ease.

If you are in between sizes, I’d advise you to choose the size closest to your bust size for a better upper body fit.
Shown in size 2 with 5 cm of positive ease.

Please be aware that adjusting the length of the garment will also affect the amount of yarn needed to finish the project.

For a monochrome version, add up all c1+c2+c3

Gauge
24 sts x 34 rows = 10 cm /4 inches in stockinette stitch on larger needles, after blocking.

Needles: 
• 3,25 mm US 3 circular needles for the body and sleeves.
• 2,75 mm US 2 circular needles for ribbing.

Always use the needle size that gives you the right gauge! Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Telline est un top estival qui se tricote du haut vers le bas sans couture.
On commence par réaliser le dos puis le devant, les mailles sont ensuite relevées le long de chaque pièce, dos et devant, pour tricoter l’un après l’autre les côtés de l’ouvrage. Des mailles supplémentaires sont montées pour former les bretelles.
Le dos et le devant sont assemblés par un rabat à trois aiguilles.
Le travail s’effectue de la même façon sur le second côté.
Deux options sont disponible pour le corps, une version droite, ou une version en A avec quelques augmentions pour élargir le modèle aux hanches.

Vous pouvez en imaginer une version uni ou le tricoter en une multitude de couleur.

• Taille du vêtement terminé, mesure prise à la poitrine –aisance comprise-
T (79, 87, 96) 103, 108, 116 (120, 127, 135, 143) cm.
• Longueur du corps : 36 cm. (ajustable)

• Aisance recommandée entre -5 et 12 cm.

Si vous êtes entre deux tailles, je vous conseille de choisir la taille la plus proche de votre tour de poitrine.
Tricoté en T2, il est porté avec 5 cm d’aisance positive à la poitrine.

Laine 
Nécessite une laine de type fingering à sport.

• Aiguille circulaire en 3,25 mm ou de la taille nécessaire pour obtenir le bon échantillon.
• Aiguille circulaire en 2,75 mm pour les finitions des manches et de l’encolure.
