This sweater pattern is worked in the round from the top down using a raglan style construction. It features long raglans and a wide neckline for a relaxed fit, and it is meant to be worn with some positive ease. There are 15 available sizes to accommodate most teens and adults, and the sleeve length and body length can easily be changed.
Sizing: The available bust sizes are (32,34,36)(38,40,42)(44,46,48)(50,52,54)( 56,58,60) inches, and the sweater is meant to be worn with 1”-3” of positive ease. The body and sleeve lengths are up to the wearer’s preference.
Gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette
Materials:
- (2,3,3)(3,3,3)(4,4,4)(4,4,5,)(5,5,5) skeins of Lion Brand Ice Cream (example is shown in Vanilla Bean, if substituting yarn you will need (768,816,834)(950,1040,1092)(1188,1242,1344)(1450,1560,1674)(1792,1856,1980) yards of DK weight (CYC-3) yarn.)
- US 8 (5.0 mm) 18” and 24” (32” may be needed for larger sizes) circular needles
- US 8 (5.0 mm) double pointed needles
- Cable needle
- Stitch markers
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
