This pattern is an alternative to the “one stripe per day” temperature afghans. The afghan is constructed in 9 pieces - five border pieces, and four pieces that include temperature stripes. Pictures are provided (and more are coming as I get mine done!) to help explain how to put this afghan together. The afghan is constructed entirely of single crochet stitches (with chain stitches as turning chains) and is perfect for a beginning crocheter. (I myself had been crocheting for about two weeks when I started this.)
