Introducing another temperature project for those of us in hot climates!

Temperature projects are a great way to remember a special year. By assigning a color to each temperature, you can see the weather of the year emerge in your project as you go. If, like me, you live somewhere warm and don’t have much use for the traditional temperature blanket, a temperature beach wrap or dress (see my temperature dress pattern) can be a great option.

You can buy a rainbow mini skein set or use scraps (I’ve made a second version of this project using scraps and it’s just as lovely and functional). The 8 mm hook makes this a very quick, very drape-y project.

This particular dress commemorates my first year of marriage and is therefore very special indeed :)
