Do you know what is a temperature blanket? It’s a project where, everyday for a year, we make a row on a project with a different colour. The colour is chosen depending on the outside temperature. A ‘’thermometer’’ is pre-establish beforehand to know what colour to use with the outside degrees. If you are interested in this project, I thought I could help you start!

This pattern is using US terms.

What does this pattern contain:

• The instructions to create your own Temperature Blanket
• The instructions to adapt this design to other sizes
• The explanations to help you create your own thermometer, based on the temperatures of YOUR city.
• An empty thermometer that you can fill with your colour choice

What are the sizes included:

• This pattern is one size:48 inches (122 cm) by 61 inches (155 cm)

What is the difficulty level of this pattern:

• Beginner/intermediate. This project is pretty simple. However, just make sure that you know how to do everything in the list below.

To make this pattern, you need to know:

• how to chain
• how to make a slip stitch
• how to make a single crochet
• how to make a half double crochet
• how to make a double crochet
• how to work on the side of a stitch
• how to join pieces together (using the technique of your choice)
• how to make the twisted stitch ( a video tutorial here )

Connaissez-vous les couvertures températures? C’est un projet où, chaque jour, on fait un rang sur un projet avec une couleur différente. La couleur est choisie selon la température extérieure. Un ‘’thermomètre’’ est établi avant de débuter le projet afin de savoir quelle couleur utiliser selon le degré extérieur! Si ce projet vous intéresse, j’ai pensé à tout pour vous aider à vous lancer!
