Knit from the bottom up, this shawl is perfect to wrap yourself with. The clean and simple design plays with easy yarn overs mixed with stockinette and garter stitch fabric. The stockinette is only seen on the right side but wearing the shawl on the wrong side is equally as beautiful and makes it completely reversible. By knitting the third section, a clear flow will emerge making this an effortless knit.

463yards/423meters per 100gr/4oz skein

Sample used 233g or approximately 1079 yds/987 m. Differences in gauge will require different yardage amounts.

I had planned to make the shawl larger, but since most fingering weight yarns are closer to 400 yards per 100g skein, I thought it was best to keep the size I had. (I highly recommend Ziawoolz though!) If you use a fingering weight that’s 400 yds/100g, you will need approx. 270g.

(240cm x 86cm)

Extras:
12 Stitch Markers (I always have a few extra in case my couch gets hungry), a removable stitch marker, and a darning needle.
3.75mm on a 30” cable.
Blocking mats and blocking pins will also make the shawl look more polished but these are optional.
