As I was knitting the column pattern for the first time, I immediately thought of a temple.
Now such a temple isn’t a design suitable for every day use, so a challenge was born ;-)
It is no coincidence that the back column runs down the heel to the floor to “ground” the wearer. Other columns are for support and the colour violet represents spirituality.
All together a wooly temple for passionate knitters!
