Templeton Mittens
by Meg Hollar
Errata as of 2.17.2012
Thumb decrease stitch count was incorrect and now reads:
K1, K2tog around. Knit 3 rounds plain. – 16 sts
K2tog around. – 8 sts
Break yarn and thread through live stitches. Pull to close hole.
A simple, quick pair of mittens with ribbing that comes to a point on the back of the hand. Interesting enough for the knitter, yet plain enough for the wearer - man or woman - who prefers a simpler style!
This pattern will make mittens to fit a hand approx. 9 inches around it’s widest point. A larger or smaller mitten can be made using larger or smaller needles accordingly.
